The USPTO offers patent-basics workshops to the general public. On Wednesday, 10/20/21, they’ll cover the various types of patents, including utility, design, and plant.
This hour-long workshop will also cover the difference between provisional patent applications and non-provisional patent applications, and how to use them. It will continue with the process of patent prosecution, the role of the U.S. patent examiner, and what to expect when working with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
